Looking for a vintage bass?
Some prefer a vintage Precision or Jazz bass by Leo Fender, but I lust after a Gibson bass - an EB 2D from 1966 or thereabouts. The beautiful body and that big rumble of a sound does it for me - but they are getting harder to find in a reasonable price range.
Like all vintage basses, if you see a bargain snap it up. They'll only cost more in the future...
